Your new tab,
rebuilt for focus.
FocusDeck replaces Chrome's blank new tab with a calm dashboard: a live clock, your daily focus, a to-do list, a Pomodoro timer and quick links. No sign-up. No tracking. Nothing ever leaves your device.
Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers.
Everything you need, nothing you don't
A new tab page that helps you decide what matters — and then gets out of the way.
Live clock & date
A large, glanceable clock front and center the moment you open a tab.
Daily focus
Write the ONE thing that matters today. It greets you on every new tab until you cross it off.
To-do list
Capture tasks in one keystroke, check them off, clear the done ones. Saved instantly — locally.
Pomodoro timer, four ways
Pick the rhythm that fits the task: Pomodoro 25/5, Deep Work 50/10, Sprint 15/3 or Ultradian 90/20. Progress ring, gentle chime, daily session counter.
Quick links
Keep your most-used sites one click away, right on your new tab.
Private by design
No analytics, no trackers, no external requests. All data lives in your browser's local storage.
Everything stays on your device
FocusDeck was built privacy-first: it asks for a single permission and works fully offline.
Local-only storage
FocusDeck loads no scripts, fonts or trackers — the only thing it fetches is the daily
pick's product image, which sends no cookies and no personal data. Your focus, to-dos
and settings are stored with chrome.storage.local — on your device,
and nowhere else. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything permanently.
No analytics, no ads, no external scripts or fonts — just one product image per day, nothing more. Read the full Privacy Policy.

How FocusDeck stays free
Free to install, no ads, no upsells — and honest about how it's funded.
Productivity picks, clearly labelled
Once a day, the "Productivity pick" card shows one curated book, course or tool for working smarter. Some of these links are affiliate links, marked with a clear "Sponsored" badge. If you click one and buy something, FocusDeck's developer may earn a commission from the seller — at no extra cost to you.
- One hand-picked pick per day — not an ad wall
- Always labelled "Sponsored" when it earns a commission
- Not personalized — everyone sees the same short list
- No data is shared with sellers or affiliate networks
Frequently asked questions
The short answers. For details, see the Privacy Policy.
Is FocusDeck really free?
Yes — free to install and use, with no accounts, no ads and no upsells. It's funded solely by clearly disclosed affiliate commissions from the "Productivity pick" card.
Does FocusDeck collect my data?
No. There are no analytics, no trackers and no servers holding your information. The only network activity is loading the daily pick's product image — which sends no cookies and no personal data. Your focus, to-dos and links are stored only in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.
Why does it need the "storage" permission?
It's the only permission FocusDeck asks for. It simply lets the extension save your to-dos, daily focus and links locally. It cannot read your browsing history or the pages you visit.
Why does FocusDeck show product recommendations?
One curated pick per day keeps the extension free to use. Recommendations are clearly labelled when sponsored, never personalized, and never based on your data. You can simply ignore them.
Which browsers does it work in?
Any Chromium-based browser: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera and others. Install it once from the Chrome Web Store and your new tab is instantly more useful.
