Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 29, 2026

The short version: FocusDeck stores everything on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no trackers. Your to-dos, goals and links never leave your browser.

1. What data FocusDeck handles

FocusDeck stores the following information locally in your browser (using chrome.storage.local):

This data is never transmitted, synchronised, sold or shared. It exists only on your device. Uninstalling the extension deletes it permanently.

2. Network requests

FocusDeck loads no scripts, fonts, trackers or analytics from the internet. The only thing it fetches is the product image of the day's "Productivity pick", loaded directly from the seller's image servers (for example Amazon's image CDN). That request sends no cookies and no personal data — it is the same as viewing any image on a normal website. If you are offline or the image is unavailable, a built-in local illustration is shown instead.

The only other outbound navigation happens when you click a link — for example a quick link you created, or a "Productivity pick" link, which opens a new tab to that destination. Those destinations are regular websites with their own privacy policies.

3. Advertising and affiliate disclosure

The "Productivity pick" card shows a curated book, course or tool. Some of these links are affiliate links, clearly labelled with a "Sponsored" badge. If you click one and make a purchase, FocusDeck's developer may earn a commission from the seller at no extra cost to you. This is the extension's only revenue source.

No data is shared with sellers or affiliate networks — the commission is tracked solely via the link you clicked. Nothing about you or your usage is used to choose or personalize recommendations: everyone sees the same short, curated list.

FocusDeck is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, FocusDeck earns from qualifying purchases.

4. Permissions

FocusDeck requests exactly one permission: Storage, used to save your to-dos, focus and links on your own device. It does not request access to your browsing history, the content of websites you visit, or any other browser data.

5. Your rights (GDPR and similar laws)

Because no personal data ever leaves your device, there is nothing for us to access, export or erase on your behalf. You have full control: you can view and delete all data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing the extension's storage in your browser's settings. If you have questions, contact us at the email listed on this site and on the Chrome Web Store listing.

6. Children's privacy

FocusDeck is a general-purpose productivity tool and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

If a future version changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the Chrome Web Store listing will reflect the change.
